Holidaying in the UK! Why not sail through the country that is richly covered from all its sides with the Irish Sea, English Channel, North Sea and Atlantic Ocean? The beauty of nature is enhanced with these waters as clear as a crystal.

To begin with, Isle of Wight is a popular area from where Cherbourg is just 65 miles ahead in France. Yachts can be chartered mostly from South Coast that can be cruised to reaching distances like Channel Islands. The other areas are Solent, West coast of Scotland, East Anglia, and the South West counties of Devon and Cornwall which are no less popular.

One can sail through in Ireland and enjoy the Magic Isle. Both Dublin as well as Donegal are two cities that are famous for their seafood and can be reached while cruising in a yacht. Firth of Forth of Scotland has a long stretch of water that makes sailing most enjoyable. Rivers Bo'ness and Charleston, or East Neuk and Dunbar harbors can offer you good experience in water racing. These are the harbors that act as sanctuaries during rough weathers. The mainland is easily accessible, and the keel yachts can be docked in these harbors without much ado so that you can enjoy some time on land.

Sailing during summer and in the West Wales is very enjoyable in Great Britain. With sailing sessions of two days in wayfarers, one gets to know the right techniques and have fun while cruising through the waters and experiencing the seaside life. Norfolk as well as Suffolk, located in the East of England, will also fetch you good experience of sailing.
